We have booked a room for our May meeting, thanks to the support of the good folks at Wavefront.

The meeting will take place on 20 May 2009 between 18:30 and 20:00 in the Guinness Tower Presentation Theatre (1055 Hastings Street)

We will have presentations on the following topics:

Ed Povozan: Cocos2d – a framework for building 2d games
Aaron Hilton: OpenGL ES – the low-level API for graphics on the iPhone and other devices

We plan to allocate about 20 minutes for each session with about 10 minutes for Q&A.

Just a quick note to let you know that we have booked a room for an April meeting. The location is Workspace at 400 – 21 Water Street and a projector will be available. We will meet on Thursday 16th April between 18:30 and 20:00 (6:30 pm and 8:00pm).

Andrei Iancu will be giving a presentation on Unit Testing in Objective-C, and he will also be prepared to talk about KVO/KVC compliance. A couple of other topics have been suggested and hopefully we can make time for those.

I’d just like to remind everyone that we are confirmed to meet at Network Hub for Wednesday 18 February between 7pm and 8:30pm.

So far 24 people have said they’ll attend. It’s a big space, fairly casual. There will be room for everyone but maybe not enough chairs, so come early

Thursday, October 16th from 18:30 until 20:00.

We can talk for 60-90 minutes. About what depends on what people are interested in. There is no agenda, and it’s the first meeting so it will be informal.
